Mini Geode Earrings - Tabasco Geodes - Natural Earrings - One-of-a-Kind - Raw Stone Earrings

This is an earring pair of one-of-a-kind natural Tabasco geodes AKA Illianites; the world's smallest geodes.

Geodes are formations caused by gas bubbles or cavities that have hardened and are over time slowly fed mineral deposits, creating tiny crystalline lined walls within the hollow chamber called Druzy. Pattern, striping and coloration can vary depending on impurities within the surrounding geology, such as iron oxides. Most geodes are filled with clear quartz crystals but are not limited to a combination or expression of agate, jasper or chalcedony banding.

All geodes sourced by Salt Mine Studios are natural and undyed! Geodes take thousands of years to form; each one is unique and cannot be reproduced!

These earrings are fitted with 14 kt. gold-filled hooks & pins; gold-filled is 100 times thicker than gold plating! The gold will not wear like it's thinner cousin, gold-plating.

Please note that these are natural, organic raw stones and some are more delicate than others. Some have more layers, while others are thin and can be chipped. Be wary of how you store them please!

Caring for your jewelry: Any kind of silver can be wiped with a soft cloth and should be stored away from oxygen. The more you wear your silver the better! Natural oils in our skin help prevent the silver from oxidizing. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Gold Filled can also use some TLC with a soft cloth as well. Luckily gold does not tarnish and will not oxidize like silver.
